Sergio did an awesome job repairing my garage. He was very professional. He went above and beyond to get my garage door fixed and assured me that the parts being replaced will prevent any problems from reoccurring with my garage as well as being covered under a 5 year warranty. I am very satisfied with his work and highly recommend Smokey's Garage Door to anyone that needs garage repairs and installations.
My garage door opener was having trouble maintaining its travel limits and showed a component error. Technician Dalton listened to my concerns and investigated. After finding that the torsion spring had finally worn out, he showed me with a scale how the spring was no longer holding enough of the weight of the door. He also showed me spots where the tension rod was wearing and the cables were bent and stressed. He carefully explained the problems and what should be done. It was time to replace some hardware. I managed to get at least 16 years of service out of these parts (21 with the spring!), so I expected that some things would need to be replaced. With some discussion of my options, we were able to find a price that fit my budget, especially as a returning customer of Smokey's Garage Door (despite new ownership). I appreciate the care that Dalton took in informing me of my garage door's issues and how it should work. He patiently and eagerly answered my questions with a smile. He also did an excellent job and noted where the repair got messy because of the age of my hardware. Dalton did not put pressure on me, and he did not rush. The tech was great. He explained in detail why we needed a new garage opener. He had come a few days earlier to replace an outside opener pad. He saw some parts of the garage opener needed replacement. He suggested a new opener. There was no pressure. We love the new one. It’s very quiet. Would recommend Smokey’s to anyone who needs a garage opener tech.

Our garage door motor started acting up on superbowl Sunday. I was able to schedule an appointment in under 2 hours with Anthony. After some troubleshooting we determined that the motor needed replacement. Anthony had a liftmaster unit in the truck and set it up in about 2 hours. Needed some after install support and he came out promptly for that as well. We'll be changing the garage doors at some point and will be using Smokey's for that as well. Highly recommended!
